During this project I supported and coached the head of communications in particular and the projectteam in general with regards to the complete renewal of the corporate website. This project needed to be executed in a very tight timeframe with many different stakeholders, for which they also wanted to provide an intranet and several extranets.

We set out to define the main target audiences and their information needs and demands. Simultaneously we made an inventory of available content and their classification and mapped this against the information demands of the identified stakeholders. Since the organisation desired to migrate from a relatively simple flat HTML-based and largely outsourced website to the use of an open source content management system we also conducted a software selection process. In addition the organisation desired a brand new look and feel. For this we invited various graphical design agencies and selected one to propose a suite of different designs, from which the organisation selected their favorite. Finally we designed and implemented a new editorial process and trained the employees to work with the system and provide content on their own.

This project was carried out in five months, which included the month December. The website went live only two weeks after the original requested deadline.
